By accessing or using KnowledgeBot ("the Service") at www.kbotsb.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
KnowledgeBot is a SaaS platform that allows businesses to upload documents and create AI-powered chatbots that can be embedded on websites. The Service includes:
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your password and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@kbotsb.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
You agree NOT to use the Service to:
Your Content: You retain all ownership rights to documents you upload. By uploading documents, you grant us a limited license to process and store them solely to provide the Service.
Our Service: KnowledgeBot, its code, design, and branding are our intellectual property. You may not copy or reproduce the Service.
Free Trial: New accounts receive a 14-day free trial with limited features (3 documents, 100 queries/month). No credit card required.
Paid Plans:
Billing is monthly. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds for partial months.
Failed Payments: If a payment fails, your account will be downgraded to the trial tier after a 7-day grace period.
We enforce plan limits on document count and monthly query count. When limits are reached, document uploads and/or chat queries will be blocked until the next billing cycle or until you upgrade. We will notify you at 80% and 100% of limits.
We aim for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance with advance notice where possible. We are not liable for downtime caused by third-party services (Supabase, OpenAI, Vercel, Stripe).
The chatbot responses generated by KnowledgeBot are produced by OpenAI's GPT-4o model based on your uploaded documents. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or fitness of AI-generated responses for any particular purpose. You are responsible for reviewing and validating bot responses before acting on them.
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy at www.kbotsb.com/privacy, which is incorporated into these Terms.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, fail to pay, or engage in abusive behavior. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 90 days per our Privacy Policy.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KNOWLEDGEBOT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, DATA LOSS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless KnowledgeBot from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of California.
We may update these Terms at any time. We will provide 30 days notice via email for material changes. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
